Aviva Müsli

This recipe has been inspired by a very close friend who always has a bowl full of müsli filled with colourful fruits of the season for lunch. It’s a very healthy, delicious and easy way to fill your system with much needed vitamins. It is also full of fiber! There is no specific way of making müsli but think of it as a sweet salad mix of grains and fruits. In Germany, müsli is a traditional breakfast meal but in Switzerland, people eat it for lunch and even as a light dinner. Whereas elsewhere in the world, hot porridge oats have become more popular, like in the UK, it’s lesser known cousin, the müsli, is typically served at room temperature and requires no heating. Rightly so, since the fruits would lose some of their vitamins when heated! Here’s the recipe. Enjoy!
